ALHAJA (MRS.) RASHIDAT OLADEPO TITILOLA BSc., MBA, ACIT, FCA, MSc.
Mrs. Rashidat Titilola Oladepo who hails from Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State was born on 3rd January 1966. She had her secondary school education at C.A.C. Commercial Grammar School, Ipetumodu, Osun State between 1980 and 1984. She later proceeded to the then Oyo State College of Arts and Science, Ile-Ife, Osun State between 1984 and 1986. In her quest for further education, Mrs. Oladepo proceeded to the Great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where she earned her B.Sc. degree in Economics in 1991, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2005 and Master of Science in Accounting in 2021.
As a thorough and professionally certified woman, Mrs. Oladepo is a Distinguished Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a member of Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), United States of America and a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (Chartered).
Mrs. Rashidat Titilola Oladepo started her professional career as an Accountant II in the services of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife in August 1997 and rose to the position of Deputy Bursar in 2016. During her tremendous professional experience, she headed several sections of the Bursary notable of which are; Stores/Creditors section, Financial Information Systems Division, Grants and Agency Division and Capital Projects Division. In recognition of her prowess in the financial and accounting world, she was meritoriously appointed by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari as the Pioneer Bursar of the newly established Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State in March 2021.
As a seasoned Accountant, Mrs. Oladepo has attended several Accounting related Conferences both locally and internationally notable of which are 13th World Congress of Accounting Historians in Newcastle, United Kingdom in 2012; International Conference on Luca Pacioli in Accounting History and 3rd Balkans and Middle East Countries Conference in Auditing and Accounting in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013; SME Conference 2013 in London, United Kingdom; Accounting Information Technology International Conference/Workshop for Professional Accountants in Louisiana, USA in 2014; Clute International Academic Conference in Las Vegas, United States; 6th Africa Centre of Excellence Workshop in Abidjan, Cote D’ivoire in 2016; Carta Faculty and Administrators Staff Workshop in Blantyre, Malawi and 21st World Congress of Accountants in Mumbai, India in 2022.
In the quest to showcase her unwavering passion for her chosen profession and her professional body, Mrs. Oladepo has served the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in several capacities among which are; Treasurer, Osun and District Society; Financial Secretary Osun and District Society; Assistant Secretary, Osun and District Society; General Secretary, Osun and District Society; Vice Chairman, Osun and District Society; and later served as the Chairman of Osun and District Society of ICAN. She had equally served in numerous Committees of ICAN among which are; Member, Mutual Cooperation Agreement with Tertiary Institutions (MCATI) between 2015 and 2017; Student Affairs Committee between 2017 and 2019; Member Accreditation Team to Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, Oyo State in 2019; Member, Investigative Committee of ICAN - Panel I, 2019 to 2020; Member, Investigative Committee of ICAN - Panel II, 2020 to 2021; Member, Committee on Review of ICAN Syllabus and Member, Committee Information Technology (IT).
Mrs. Rashidat Titilola Oladepo is a devout Muslim, a seasoned Accountant of global repute, a pious wife and dedicated mother who is married to Prof. Oladepo and their marriage is blessed with three blessed children who are doing distinguishingly well in their various life endeavours.
